Look, pretty!

I am not very good at the business side of art and not really at that stage in my journey anyway, but as you know, I have been trying to accept it as a possibility. I have used Cafe Press before to print items that I wanted personally. The other day I was thinking that if I had cards of my 'open' painting I would send them, then today I remembered Cafe Press! So I have some cards there if you want to take a look.

In other news I am just enjoying being done with my reading deprivation weeks. I have been catching up on blogs, which has been a joy! I finished Eat, Pray, Love - I have never affirmed a book so much in all my life, I kept saying "yes!" out loud while I was reading it. A favourite quote:

"You have to participate relentlessly  in the manifestation of your own blessings." - Elizabeth Gilbert

I've just started The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing. It is demanding more of me that Eat, Pray, Love but I have wanted to read it for a long time and I am enjoying the change of pace.

So, to start off, one from the archives. It is from a class called Done and Dusted taught by Shimelle and you will find it in the photo album to the left, titled Artist Books: Innocents Abroad.
